PHOENICIA, Tyre. 126/5 BC-AD 65/6. AR Half Shekel (19mm, 6.77 g, 1h). Dated CY 172 (AD 46/7). Laureate head of Melkart right, lion skin around neck / Eagle standing left on prow; palm frond in background; to left, POB (date) above club; to right, KP above monogram; Phoenician B between legs. DCA-Tyre 912; RPC –; HGC 10, 358; DCA 922. Lightly toned, scattered marks and scratches, off center on obverse. Good Fine.
